NDWS is now accepting applications for Year 1 pilot grants for high-impact research studies that propose innovative uses of Year 1 NDWS survey data of the professional dementia care workforce and linked data sources.
Pilot grants will be awarded annually. They are designed to help NDWS build and support a community of researchers who will utilize this new data infrastructure to understand the dementia care workforce and its impact on care and outcomes for persons living with dementia.
We invite researchers to submit proposals to analyze Year 1 NDWS data that will become available in Spring 2025. Up to five proposals will be awarded, with at least one from each of the four survey settings: community clinicians, nursing homes, assisted living communities, and home care agencies.
The application deadline is Friday, Nov. 1 for 12-month projects that will begin April 1, 2025. Grants will include up to $160,000 in total costs, with direct costs not to exceed $100,000.
